The International Meditation Center in Lisle, Illinois provides space for community members to gather, attend teachings from the Maharaj, or simply to find a moment of peace. The 1,800-seat main hall hosts live or recorded public teachings by spiritual Master Sant Rajinder Singh Ji, meditation seminars, conferences, lectures, video-screenings, and community outreach.
Operable walls divide the rear half of the space to provide flexibility for hosting simultaneous events or facilitate presentations in multiple languages. The Center features the atmospherically-lit Sanctuary that provides all visitors with shelter from distraction for meditation, an escape from the busy world around us that begins visually and aurally with the entry through the antechamber.
Beyond the public spaces, the Center features a large dining hall with demonstration kitchens that teach vegetarian cooking, private spaces for the Maharaj adjacent to office and smaller meeting spaces, a broadcasting/recording suite and library.
