Nick learned to balance science and art starting at a young age in Houston, Texas, when his free time was divided between piano lessons and robotics competitions. A duel Bachelor’s of Music in Recording and Music Composition at Peabody Institute allowed him to continue exploring his love of engineering and music. To Nick, writing and designing went hand in hand. His time at Peabody exposed him early and often to the field of Acoustics – a field that matched his interests harmoniously. Since then, he’s recorded at Tanglewood and in Houston and Baltimore, written for films and electro-acoustic ensembles, and eventually found us, Threshold Acoustics, where he’s been a mainstay of the studio.
