When you initially reach out to our offices at Threshold, Adara is likely your first introduction. As a mix of left- and right-brain interests she’s the perfect introduction to a firm that mixes the creative with the analytical.
While quick on the soccer pitch and mathematically inclined, music became her passion and she graduated from University of Colorado at Boulder with a Masters in Music through their opera program. She moved to Chicago to pursue a singing career but the pandemic caused her to consider how she wanted to balance the uncertainty of a music career with her future hopes and aspirations.
Thankfully for us, she found a balance at Threshold. Hyper-organized and a wiz at spreadsheets, she wears three hats at once: administrative concerns, accounting, and some Human Resources. Most recently she’s been our lodestar in managing new hire applications and onboarding. Creatively, she organizes our outings and internal get-togethers that are vital to the shared sense of community within our office.
When she’s not keeping the office steadily moving forward, she’s often sharing the fruits of her other hobby: baking! At home, which includes two cats named Biscuit and Gravy, she’s a foodie that loves to bake while her husband loves to cook. She’s always got a good fruit-based recipe on hand but her true love is cheesecake.
